ABOUT MARINE ARMOR SYSTEM

Marine Armor System is the specialized division in naval armor of the Collbaix group, founded in 1972 has more than 45 years of experience in the security and architectural armor sector. Marine Armor System has specialized in security systems adapted for ships. We manufacture, distribute and install our high security armor systems on board of all kind of ships, offshore platforms and megayachts. Our headquarters are located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain), our production centers specialized in naval armor being located in the north of the Iberian Peninsula. Our facilities are strategically located, since the Puerto de la Luz in Gran Canaria is one of the most important in the sector of naval repairs in the North Atlantic area. The scope of our products and services is worldwide, with distributors and specialized technical service worldwide. Our specialized technicians move to any part of the planet and can install our security systems during normal operation or navigation of the ship or platform without interfering with its daily activity.

More than 45 years of experience guarantee the quality of our products

The first company was founded in 1972 initially established the headquarters in the northern part of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain). The headquarters of the group has since remained in Spain and currently has four production centers including one in the Canary Islands, where the production center and division specializing in special projects is located.

The Marine Armor System brand is the result of decades of effort and investment in design, development and innovation. We have extensive experience in the manufacture, sale and installation of high security systems, carrying out customized projects for different types of clients both private and defense sector and in all types of ships and offshore platforms. Marine Armor System has ballistic, burglarproof, fireproof, blastproof and hurricaneproof certifications under the most demanding European regulations and certifications in addition to owning the intellectual property and patents that position our brand as a leading reference in the global market.

Our work does not end with the installation of our products, our customers continue to enjoy our satisfaction commitment through our after-sales department. In addition, all Marine Armor System systems comply with BMP5 recommendations of the International Maritime Organization.  

 

R+D+i IN PASSIVE SECURITY

Our products are manufactured with a very resistant alloy composed of top quality materials. The Marine Armor System development policy pursues daily innovation to offer the highest level of security in high-risk situations. Therefore, in our R&D& I department we are always carrying out development lines in new materials, innovative products and procedures to improve and increase the resistance and safety of our systems. The application of the results of this research in the manufacture of our products as well as the technological improvement of our system is our central pillar of innovative development.
